Arthur Alan Westbrook was born in 1887 in Arkansas. He was a singer, teacher principal, Post Master General, and editor of a local newspaper in McCurtain County. He loved music and wrote many hymns. He was active in his church and touched many lives in his community. He died in Idabel, Oklahoma in 1965.
