Composer: Jonathan Tyers Barrett
Jonathan Tyers Barrett was Fellow at St. Peter's college, Cambridge where he graduated with a B.A. in 1860, an M.A. in 1809 and a D.D. in 1821. He served as a rector in Beauchamp Roding, in Essex and was an active magistrate in the county. In 1824 he was appointed to the district church of St. John the Evangelist, in the Waterloo Bridge Road, in the parish of Lambeth and he remained there until 1848. His tune HATFIELD was published in National Psalmody...for the services of the United Church of England and Ireland (Lambeth: B. Jacob, 1817)
