Grover Cleveland Adams was born on August 5, 1887 in McKinney, Texas. He was born a triplet along with his sisters Nettie Mae and Cora Lee Adams. The triplets were placed on exhibition at the 1887 Texas State Fair in Dallas when they were only six weeks old. G.C. Adams (also known as Cleve) resided almost his entire life in Oklahoma.
