John Horatio Robert Bayley was born in 1816 in Wellington, Shropshire, England. He worked as a school teacher. He wrote mainly poetry and one work of fiction: Solon, an historical story of ancient Greece...to which is appended Harvest sheaves (Harvest Sheaves is a volume of poetry written to or for his children and other people in his life).
