Published in 1 hymnal

Representative Text

1 When my work is ended and my singing done,
And the life eternal shall have just begun,
Standing in the presence of the Holy One,
There you'll find me singing when the day is done.
There you'll find me singing when the day is done,
There you'll find me singing when the day is done,
Standing in the presence of the Holy One;
There you'll find me singing when the day is done.

2 Mother will be waiting for her wayward boy,
Greet his homeward coming with celestial joy,
'Mid the bliss supernal while the ages run,
There you'll find me singing when the day is done.
There you'll find me singing when the day is done,
There you'll find me singing when the day is done,
Standing in the presence of the Holy One;
There you'll find me singing when the day is done.

3 When amid the glories of that heav'nly place,
When, by love surpassing I shall see His face,
Standing in the presence of the Holy One,
There you'll find me singing when the day is done.
There you'll find me singing when the day is done,
There you'll find me singing when the day is done,
Standing in the presence of the Holy One;
There you'll find me singing when the day is done.
