My Prayer

Representative Text

1 When I wake up in the morning,
And I see the light of day,
Then I know that Jesus kept me,
So I close my eyes and pray.

2 When I find myself in trouble,
While at school or in my play,
I am sure the Lord will help me,
So I close my eyes and pray.

3 When I see the evening shadows,
And the sun has gone away,
Then I want the Savior near me,
So I close my eyes and pray.
