Representative Text

1 What a glorious day for me
When the Saviour made me free,
When He turned my feet t’ward heav’n above!
Condemnation rolled away
On that blest salvation day,
So I’m happy in my Saviour’s love.

Chorus:
I am happy in my Saviour’s love,
I am happy in my Saviour’s love,
Since he washed my sins away,
Turning all my night today,
I’m happy in my Saviour’s love.

2 Life is now a constant joy
And His praise my lips employ,
As His promises I daily prove;
And I tell it where I go,
For I want the world to know,
Since I’m happy in my SAviour’s love. [Chorus]

3 All may know the joy within
Of forgiveness from all sin,
And may journey t’ward the home above;
Serving Jesus ev’ry day
They may praise Him all the way
And be happy in the Saviour’s love. [Chorus]
