Dunn, John Randall. (Massillon, Ohio,?--December 22, 1948, San Francisco, California). Was the son of James Randall Dunn, an official of the U.S. Immigration Service. His mother, Caroline, was an accomplished singer and pianist. Educated in Ohio and San Francisco, he served in the U.S. Chinese Bureau in San Francisco. He was a Christian Science practitioner, 1907-1948, and also served as a Christian Science teacher, lecturer, and as the editor of Christian Science periodicals. --Joan E.
