Author: Mary Pyper

Pyper, Mary, daughter of a soldier, was born at Greenock May 25, 1795. She died May 25. 1870. One of her hymns, from her Select Pieces, 1847, p. 23, "We shall see Him, in our nature" (Heaven Anticipated), is in common use. --John Julian, Dictionary of Hymnology, Appendix, Part II (1907)  Go to person page >
