Representative Text

1 We shall have a new name in that Land,
And forever rest at God’s right hand;
With the hosts of His redeemed we’ll stand,
In that Land of Light.

Chorus:
In that Land of Light,
Glorious and bright,
We shall have a new name in that Land,
In that Land of Light.

2 We shall sing of Christ who faithfully
Bore the cruel cross on Calvary,
Paid the price of sin so willingly,—
In that Land of Light. [Chorus]

3 We shall o’er and o’er His name repeat,
Tell of His redemption so complete,
Cast your starry crowns at His pierc’d feet,
In that Land of Light. [Chorus]
