Representative Text

1 ‘Tis the dawn of a holy morn,
We have gathered from the storm,
Lord Jesus, we’ve waited for Thee;
In Thy likeness we shall be
Thru the long eternity;
Hallelujah! He’s coming for me.

Chorus:
He’s coming after me, coming after me,
Jesus with glory coming after me;
He’s coming after me, coming after me,
Lord, I am waiting Thy glory to see.

2 We behold Him from afar
As the bright and morning star;
My Jesus is coming for me.
We as jewels shining bright
He has gathered from the night,
He is coming for those robed in white. [Chorus]

3 ‘Tis a vision from above,
Who are these that fly as doves?
They fly to their windows away;
AS the clouds they sail thru space;
O the mystery of grace!
WE shall see Him, our God, face to face. [Chorus]

4 To that home of God above,
Filled with grace and holy love,
With Jesus forever we’ll be;
All His beauties left untold,
There the myst’ry shall unfold,
And His glory we all shall behold. [Chorus]
