1 There's joy in the thought of a raiment of white,
With harps that are golden, and mansions all bright;
The songs of the ransomed and seraphim fair,
But, oh, what is better, the King will be there.

"The King in his beauty" will ever be there;
The child he has ransom'd, his glory will share,
Oh, glory, oh, glory, I'll dwell with him there.

2 I'll work for the Master whatever may come,
Will fight 'neath his banner wherever I roam;
His name be confessing in every place,
And then, in bright glory, I'll gaze on his face. [Chorus]

Buried: Oran Com­mun­i­ty Church Cem­e­te­ry, Pom­pey, Onon­da­ga Coun­ty, New York. Daughter of El­e­a­zer Rice, Jones lived in Onon­da­ga Coun­ty, New York. Her girl­hood was spent on a farm, re­ceiv­ing what ed­u­ca­tion the count­ry schools and one term at high school could pro­vide. She was al­ways fond of read­ing, and was a great sing­er, with a clear ring­ing voice. On Ju­ly 7, 1844, she mar­ried a son of Rev. Ze­nas Jones; her hus­band died in 1879.
