Representative Text

1 There's a work for ev'ry Christian in the vineyard of the Lord,
There's a work that you can do;
He has given full directions, for His servants, in His Word,
There's a work that you can do.

Chorus:
Let us work, work, work, and serve the Lord,
Let us work, work, work in sweet accord;
Till our work on earth is done, and the life-crown won,
Let us work and labor for the Lord.

2 Little deeds and words of kindness you can scatter ev'rywhere,
There's a work that you can do;
He has given full directions, for His servants, in His Word,
There's a work that you can do. [Chorus]

3 You can tell the love of Jesus to a neighbor on the road,
There's a work that you can do;
You can cheer a lonely brother, you can help Him bear His load,
There's a work that you can do. [Chorus]

4 You can sing a song for Jesus and His matchless love proclaim,
There's a work that you can do;
You can live a life of honor that will magnify His name,
There's a work that you can do. [Chorus]
