1 There’s a story which I love to tell,
As rejoicing on I go;
That Jesus gave His life to save,
The world from sin and woe,
And it fills my soul with joy to know,
That He e’er could love me so;
His love for you is ever true,
Then tell it as you go.

Makes you joyous all day long;

2 There’s a song which swells within my soul,
Making life a gladsome rhyme;
Since He came in, saved me from sin,
And made the joy-bells chime.
Can you sing this song of joy with me,
Does your heart with love o’erflow?
To Him on high who’s ever nigh,
Then tell it as you go. [Refrain]

3 There’s a hand that guides me day by day,
As I journey on with cheer;
‘Tis strong and sure, ‘twill e’er endure,
I trust Him without fear;
And that others may His pow’r receive,
And His love and goodness know;
I’m living true to Him; are you?
