Representative Text

1 There’s a loving invitation in the Book of Life divine,
There’s a promise true repeated o’er and o’er;
“Come to me,” is Jesus’ call,
“Come to me, there’s hope for all,
He that cometh findeth life forevermore.”

Refrain:
Whoso cometh findeth life forevermore,
Evermore, evermore,
For the Saviour’s hand of love
Reaches down from heav’n above
With the gift of life forevermore.

2 There’s a loving call that echoes o’er the spaces of the years,
With a promise we have often heard before;
“Come to me,” is Jesus’ call,
“Come to me, there’s hope for all,
He that cometh findeth life forevermore.” [Refrain]

3 There’s a loving word that opens all the wealth of earthly joy,
All the treasure of eternity in story;
“Come to me,” is Jesus’ call,
“Come to me, there’s hope for all,
He that cometh findeth life forevermore.” [Refrain]
