Land of Bliss

1 There’s a land of everlasting song,
Where shining angels sing;
And the saints with an immortal tongue
In rapture praise their King.
In that world of perfect, holy peace,
The blest of ages meet,
And drink the joys of paradise,
Eternal, pure and sweet.

Land of the blest, Land of love.
Sweet is thy rest, eternal rest,
O land of bliss above!

2 I’ll rise on faith’s almighty wing
And view the glorious scene,
Where all is sweet and blooming spring,
Adorned in living green.
While I drink the crystal streams of love,
That flow from heaven’s throne,
I journey to that land above,
My everlasting home. [Refrain]

3 O land of bright, unclouded day,
O land of perfect joy,
Thy glory shines upon my way,
And all my songs employ.
There I hope to end my pilgrim race,
And rest from earthly strife;
In worlds of sweet and holy peace
I’ll wear a crown of life. [Refrain]
