1 The Holy Spirit speaks today,
In God's eternal word,
Ye sinners, take the living way,
And travel on to God.

2 The Holy Spirit speaks today,

Ye saints, keep in the living way,
'Twill lead you on to God.

3 The Holy Spirit's power for aye,
Is in the gospel word;
He shows therein the living way,
That leads us on to God.

4 How bright and sweet the living way,
'Tis strewn with fragrant flow'rs.
That never wither nor decay,
But crown immortal brows.
