Representative Text

1 Tell the wonderful story of Jesus;
How from glory to earth He came;
How He suffered and died to redeem us;
How He lives evermore the same.

Refrain:
Tell the story of His love,
Spread the tidings far and near;
Tell the story of His love,
Tell it out that the world may hear.

2 Would you lighten the hearts that are heavy?
Drive the clouds from the darkened skies?
Tell the story of grace all-sufficient,
And the strength which His love supplies. [Refrain]

3 There is fullness of joy in His presence
There is peace for the reconciled;
Unto those who believe He is precious,
Ever near to the trusting child. [Refrain]
