Spirit of holiness, look down. W. H. Bathurst. [Divine Grace desired.] First published in his Psalms & Hymns, 1831, No. 59, in 5 stanzas of 4 lines, and headed "For healing and strengthening Grace." The hymn, "Lord, let Thy saving mercy heal," in the American Church Praise Book, N. Y., 1882, is a cento from this hymn (stanzas in., ii., iv.).
