Representative Text

1 Somewhere the sun is brightly beaming,
Tho’ tis hidden from your view,
Somewhere the light of hope is gleaming,
Gleaming bright for you.

Refrain:
Then trust in God thro’ all thy days,
Fear not for He is by the side,
He’ll lead thee thro’ life’s devious ways,
He will guide where no storms betide.

2 Somewhere the Saviour stands to greet you,
Yonder in a brighter land,
Somewhere your loved ones long to meet you,
On the Jordan’s strand. [Refrain]

3 Somewhere there’s life and love and gladness,
Jesus is not far away,
Somewhere we’ll meet, where is no sadness,
Ever there to stay. [Refrain]

4 Somewhere, without the fold you’re straying,
Straying from the Saviour’s home,
Somewhere, a heart for you is praying,
Rest, and cease to roam. [Refrain]

5 Somewhere within the world you’re straying,
In a world that’s ever cold,
Somewhere the precious step delaying,
Enter now the fold. [Refrain]
