Representative Text

1 Sing, ev’ry voice, glad melodies of praise,
Sing and rejoice, your songs of triumph raise,
Join in the hymns, with loving voices bring
Praise to our God above, Ruler, Lord and King.

Refrain:
Sing, ev’ry voice, give praise to God above,
Blend into song our tribute of unfailing love,
O sing, ev’ry voice, yes, sing in glad accord,
Tribute of praise, and worship to our Lord.

2 Far overhead the skies with glory shine,
Brightly they shed their golden light divine,
but in our hearts, this holy Sabbath day,
Shines the diviner Light, with its heav’nly ray. [Refrain]

3 Sing then, oh sing a hymn of grateful love,
Glad tribute bring to Him Who rules above,
All charm and light, all music, joy and cheer,
Come from our Father’s hand, to His children here. [Refrain]
