Será de Manhã?

Representative Text

1. Será de manhã, no começo do dia?
Será quando a luz pelas trevas adentra,
Que Cristo há de vir com os anjos da glória,
Receber, deste mundo, os Seus?

Estribilho:
Ó, Jesus Salvador, Senhor!
Quando vamos cantar:
“Volta Cristo, aleluia, aleluia, amém!”?
Aleluia, amém!

2. Será na aurora? Será pela tarde?
Se à noite vier, toda a treva dissipa,
E haverá luz, brilho intenso de glória,
Cristo, então, vai os Seus receber. [Estribilho]

3. Que glória, enfim, quando a morte, vencida,
Jesus revestir-nos de perpétua vida,
E todos nós formos morar lá na glória,
Nesse lar que Jesus preparou! [Estribilho]

In some hymnals, the editors noted that a hymn's author is unknown to them, and so this artificial "person" entry is used to reflect that fact. Obviously, the hymns attributed to "Author Unknown" "Unknown" or "Anonymous" could have been written by many people over a span of many centuries. Go to person page >
