Señor Jesús, eterno rey

Representative Text

1 Señor Jesús, eterno Rey,
las alabanzas de tu grey
acepta hoy, que con fervor
te ofrece en prueba de su amor.

2 Que nuestro culto* al ofrecer,
un pacto nuevo pueda ser
del santo amor que sólo a ti
debiera el alma darte aquí.

3 Y que tus gracia, buen Jesús,
que mi alma llena de tu luz,
jamás nos llegue a faltar,
y no podamos desmayar.

4 Que cada instante en nuestro ser
un nuevo triunfo pueda haber,
creciendo en gozo, fe y amor,
hasta llegar a ti, Señor.

It was a residence most favourable for his health, and for the prosecution of his literary… Go to person page >
