Aamodt, Margaret D. (Mrs. H. Oscar Aamodt). (Cuyuna Iron Range, northern Minnesota, December 14, 1910-- ). Lutheran. Daughter of Roy and Effie Cunningham. Lake Mills, Iowa High School, 1929. Editor of Graphic, a printing journal, in Lake Mills and news correspondent and staff writer for several local papers. Author of a book of poems, Through Country Lanes (1963), of many poems published in newspapers and magazines, and a number of hymns, one of which, "Send forth the word," was published by The Hymn Society in 1966 in Fifteen New Bible Hymns.
