Sowing for the Master

Scattering seeds of beautiful deeds

Author: James Rowe
Tune: [Scattering seeds of beautiful deeds]
Published in 1 hymnal

Audio files: MIDI

Representative Text

1 Scattering seeds of beautiful deeds,
Sowing for the Master;
Measures of love for weary ones’ needs,
Sowing for the Master.

Refrain:
Seeds of kindness, seeds of love,
Helping souls to look above;
Sin and sadness to remove,
Sowing for the Master.

2 Whispering cheer to hearts that are drear,
Sowing for the Master;
Banishing doubt, and trouble, and fear,
Sowing for the Master. [Refrain]

3 Sowing each day as much as we may,
Sowing for the Master;
Doing our best, at work or at play,
Sowing for the Master. [Refrain]

4 Scattering seeds of beautiful deeds,
Sowing for the Master;
Following him wherever he leads,
Sowing for the Master. [Refrain]
