Pealing your glad roundeley!
Carry the message of blossoms so sweet,
As they praise the dear Lord ev’ry day!

Swinging, swinging, while the world is gay,
Ringing, ringing, crown’d with his love today,
Singing, singing, praises to Christ our King!
Loving, trusting, ring happy joy bells! ring!

2 Ring silver chimes, while the sunlight gleams,
Bright thro’ the blue arching sky!
Telling anew of the beautiful home,
And the love that will nevermore die. [Refrain]

3 Ring, while the angels in heaven sing
Unto the Father of light,
Crowning with gladness the sweet summer tide,
Even so, it seem’d good in his sight. [Refrain]

Lizzie De Armond was a prolific writer of children's hymns, recitations and exercises. When she was twelve years old her first poem was published in the Germantown, Pa. Telegraph, however, it was not until she was a widow with eight children to support that she started writing in earnest. She wrote articles, librettos, nature stories and other works, as well as hymns.
