1 Perfect love--a heart o'erflowing,
Lord, I yield,
Quickened by the Holy Spirit,
By it sealed.
Nothing else within remaining,
All is thine;
Perfect love my soul pervading,
Love divine.
2 Perfect trust--no question asking,
Not a doubt;
Even tho' dark clouds the sunshine
Would shut out.
Just behind the misty darkness
Shines the light,
And the blessed bow of promise
Greets my sight.
3 Perfect faith--thy word believing
All the way;
Not by sight my path pursuing Day by day;
One step only just before me
Need I know,
Only light for one step needed
As I go.
