Our Lord commands move forward

1 Our Lord commands move forward,
Shall we hold back in fear?
And hide our frightened faces,
When Satan's hosts appear?

Move forward, the King commands!
Move forward, o'er sea and land!
Move forward, and no trials shun
Till victory is won!

2. Shall we give 'way to terror
And flee before the foe,
While Satan marches forward
To fill the world with woe? [Refrain]

3 No! No! A thousand voices
Cry "Onward for the King!
With Jesus Christ our Captain
The victor's song we'll sing." [Refrain]

4 No foe can stand before Him
And faith shall be our shield,
Until the hosts of Satan
At last to Christ shall yield. [Refrain]
