Representative Text

1 On this day of gladness,
Let us join to sing
Joyful songs of Jesus,
Christ our Heav’nly King.

Refrain:
Let us serve Him ever,
And glad praises sing
Of our Great Redeemer,
Christ, our Heav’nly King.

2 Words that tell of Jesus,
Sweeter thoughts disclose,
Than the breath of lilies
Or of Sharon’s rose. [Refrain]

3 With glad songs of Nature
May our voices blend,
Telling of the Saviour,
Christ, the children’s friend. [Refrain]
