Representative Text

1 O, the rocks and the mountains shall all flee away,
When Jesus comes to judgment the last great day;
And no refuge can shelter, no covert can hide
The soul that hath rejected the Crucified.

Refrain:
Sinner, sinner, plunge in the crimson flood!
There’s pardon, peace, and cleansing beneath the blood.
Sinner, sinner, plunge in the crimson flood!
There’s pardon, peace, and cleansing beneath the blood.

2 In the world there’s no pleasure can ever endure,
The moments are so fleeting, there’s nothing sure;
For we fade as a leaf, and our time’s but a breath,
The Lord hath said the wages of sin is death. [Refrain]

3 In the blood there is cleansing without and within,
And Jesus breaks the power of canceled sin;
He keeps us and saves us to the uttermost,
Baptizes us with fire and the Holy Ghost. [Refrain]
