1 Oh! soldiers of Christ, unto thee is the call,
The word of command sounds aloud unto all,
"Be strong in the Lord and the power of His might"
Be watchful and ready and stand for the right.
Chorus:
Stand for the Right!
Stand for the Right!
Trust in the Lord and be strong in His might;
Fierce is the foe,
Sharp is the fight;
Be watchful and ready and stand for the right.
2 The armor of God shall thy weakness defend,
"Be strong in the faith," and hope on to the end;
No legions of sin shall thy spirit affright,
Be watchful and ready and stand for the right. [Chorus]
3 Oh! stand for the right in the face of the foe,
Believe in thy God, and His might He will show;
He leads in the dark, He will keep thee by night,
Be watchful and ready and stand for the right. [Chorus]
