1 O let us praise the Savior's name,
And tell the wondrous story,
Of him who died for every one,
"The Lord of life and glory."

Chorus:
Hallelujah! He redeemed us,
It is the "old, old story."
Hallelujah unto Jesus,
To him be all the glory.

2 To ransom sinners such as we
He left his home in heaven,
To save from death a sinful race
His precious life was given. [Chorus]

3 This Savior now by faith is mine,
My heart with joy is bounding,
And will, throughout eternity,
His praises be re-sounding. [Chorus]
