[Divine Holiness, and Human Depravity.] Appeared in Hymns and Sacred Poems, 1742, in 36 stanzas of 4 lines, in three parts, and entitled "Unto the Angel of the Church of the Laodiceans." In 1780, J. Wesley compiled the following centos therefrom for the Wesleyan Hymn Book:—
1. God of unspotted purity. Composed of stanzas iii., iv., v., vi., viii.-xi. of Part i.
2. 0 let us our own works forsake, of stanzas iii., viii., ix., x., of Part ii.
3. Saviour of all, to Thee we bow. Composed of stanzas i.-vi. of Part iii.
