O Gott, an deiner Gnade

Representative Text

1 O Gott, an Deiner Gnade
Genüge uns allein,
So wird auf Deinem Pfade
Das Herz stets glücklich sein.

2 Will uns der Weg ermüden,
Und wir der Kampf uns schwer,
Bewahr' uns Deinen Frieden,
Die Gnad' in uns vermehr'!

3 Wenn Satan uns will schaden,
Und wenn die Welt uns höhnt –
Getrost! wir sind in Gnaden,
Wir sind mit Dir versöhnt.

4 Selbst wenn wir Mangel leiden
Und keinen Ausweg sehn,
So kann uns doch nichts scheiden,
Weil wir in Gnaden stehn.

5 Du wirst uns sicher leiten
Durch Deine Gnad' und Treu',
Du wirst uns zubereiten,
Bis alles völlig neu.
