1 O come, little children, O come, one and all
To Bethlehem hasten and to the cow's stall.
We'll see what our Father this holiest night
Has sent to his children for joy and delight.

2 O see in his cradle in starlight full bright
See here where now streams from above a great light,
A dear little baby, a heavenly child,
More lovely than angels his smile sweet and mild.

3 See Mary and Joseph a glad vigil keep
Where cradled in hay he lies softly asleep.
In awe see the shepherds who kneel round the King;
On high angel choirs all their glad carols sing.

4 O kneel like the shepherds and like them all pray;
With hands gently holded, to God your thanks say.
Then sing and be merry, who would not rejoice"
And join with the angels your heart and your voice.
