Representative Text

1 Never surrender!—our watchword today;
We will be true to the Lord alway;
For he is worthy the service we give,
He has redeemed us,—for him we will live.

Refrain:
Never surrender, never!
Loyal to Jesus ever!
Doing and daring,
With Jesus sharing
The kingdom of glory for aye.

2 Never surrender, tho’ legions of foes
Rise in their might and our ways oppose;
Jesus is filling our vision today,
And we’ll be true ev’ry step of the way. [Refrain]

3 Never surrender! press on to the end,
Christ is a Savior who will defend;
Under the shadow of his mighty wing,
Never surrender, but fight for the King. [Refrain]
