Representative Text

1 Naught we care for fleeting riches,
Naught we care for earthly fame,
On our banner read this motto,
“We will conquer in his name.”

Refrain:
In his name, in his name,
Many vict’ries may be won in his name;
In his name, in his name,
Many blessed deeds be done in his name.

2 Sure we are that right will triumph,
If the Lord is on our side;
Sure we are that Christ will help us,
Going with us as our guide. [Refrain]

3 In his name we’ll aid the helpless,
Speaking words of love to them,
Bidding them forget their sorrow,
Bringing hope to them again. [Refrain]

4 We will sing sweet songs of gladness,
Breathing incense of the flow’rs;
Praising God’s blue sky and sunshine,
Making bright this world of ours. [Refrain]

5 Come, then join us in our mission,
We will gladly welcome you;
Follow ‘neath our glorious banner,
In his name, come live anew. [Refrain]
