Representative Text

1 Make me a worker for Jesus,
Steadfast and earnest and true;
Willing to work for the Master,
What He would have me to do.

Refrain:
Make me a worker for Jesus,
Humble my labor may be,
But cheerfully done for the Master,
Who hath done great things for me.

2 Let me be brave in the conflict,
Ready to go where He needs,
Sowing good seed for the harvest,
Plucking up briars and weeds. [Refrain]

3 Let me go out to the harvest,
Faithfully doing my part,
Gathering sheaves for the gleaning,
Steadfast of purpose and heart. [Refrain]

4 Make me a worker for Jesus,
Trusting Him never in vain,
Glad if I bind for the Master,
Sheaves of God’s beautiful grain. [Refrain]
