Representative Text

1 Loving Saviour, lead me
Every day and hour;
keep me ever near Thee,
Hold me by Thy power;
Every moment, Lord, I need Thee;
O my Saviour, lead me.

Refrain:
Daily, hourly, lead me;
Loving Saviour, lead me;
Every moment lead me,
Till I rest with Thee.

2 O Thou gracious Giver,
Hear my earnest plea;
Keep, O keep me ever
Very close to Thee;
Let Thy presence ever cheer me;
Keep, O keep me near Thee. [Refrain]

3 Thro’ the pathway dreary
Guide me day by day;
When oppressed and weary,
Be my help and stay;
In the hour of death, O hide me;
Thro’ its shadow guide me. [Refrain]
