Representative Text

1 Lives are fields, wherein we sow
Seed of good or ill to grow
To a harvest that will bring
Praise of judgment from the King.

Chorus:
Scatter, scatter, day by day,
Good seed all along life’s way,
Knowing that from what we sow
Good or ill will surely grow.

2 Let no weeds of evil find
Place in gardens of the mind,
But God’s golden grain alone
In these hearts of ours be grown. [Chorus]

3 Scatter far and wide the seed
Of kind word and helpful deed.
Keep on sowing, ev’ry day,
Seeds of love along the way. [Chorus]
