Less than the least of all
Thy mercies, Lord are we;
Yet, for the greatest we may call,
The greatest are most free.

Thy Son Thou didst not spare,
Yet us Thou sparest still,
Him didst Thou send our guilt to bear,
Our righteousness fulfil.
For such amazing grace,
What can poor sinners give?
At Thy command, we seek Thy face,
We meet our Judge, and live.
The world we would forsake,
Our all to Thee resign;
O save us for Thy mercies sake!
O save us,--we are Thine!
Meanwhile, as pilgrims here,
Who seek our home above,
Thee may we serve, with holy fear,
And love, with child-like love.
