Jesus, my Lord, to Thee I come And humbly bow before Thy throne

Representative Text

1 Jesus, my Lord, to Thee I come
And humbly bow before Thy throne
And there make known each want and care
In penitent and fervent pray'r.

2 Jesus, I beg Thee, try my heart,
Set me afar from sin apart;
Cleanse me, and lead me day by day
Into the everlasting way.

3 Jesus, Thou art my all in all.
On Thy dear name I'll ever call;
In deep distress I look to Thee;
For Thou my refuge e'er shall be.

4 Help me to hold my light while here
On earth; and other hearts to cheer;
Then at the end take me to Thee,
To rest thro' all eternity.
