Jesus, Keep Me

Jesus, keep me day by day, In the straight and narrow way

Author: Ella E. Miles
Tune: [Jesus, keep me day by day]
Published in 1 hymnal

Representative Text

1. Jesus, keep me day by day
In the straight and narrow way;
Snares around my feet are set,
Watch me, lest I may forget.

2. Jesus, help me when I call,
When I fear that I may fall;
Guard my steps lest I should go
In the downward path to woe.

3. Jesus, make me pure within,
Wash my heart from every sin,
So each tho't and act may be
Pleasing, blessed Lord, to thee.

4. Jesus, save me by and by,
When thou comest in the sky,
May I see thy glorious face,
With thy people have a place.
