Jerusalén, despierta

Representative Text

1 Jerusalén despierta:
Tu Salvador ya vino;
Avanza en su camino,
Tocando está a tu puerta.

2 ¡Despierta! En alegría
Conviértanse tus penas;
Arroja tus cadenas;
¡Oh Sion!, éste es tu día.

3 Que el júbilo en rumores
Se eleve raudo al cielo:
Y cubran campo y suelo
La púrpura y las flores.

4 Agítense las palmas,
La música resuene,
Que libres a hacer viene
El Redentor las almas.

Amén.
