Ja paŝtas min la Eternul'

Representative Text

1. Ja paŝtas min la Eternul',
ne mankon havos mi.
En lokoj kun freŝ-verda herb'
ripozon donas Li.

2. Li apud akvoj de trankvil'
en paco gvidas min.
Kun daŭra graco donas Li
kvieton al l' anim'.

3. Laŭ vojoj de justeco Li
kondukas min por bon'.
Li ja sur ili benas min
pro Sia kara nom'.

4. Eĉ se mi iros tra la val'
de l' ombro de la mort',
neniam timon sentos mi.
Vi estos mia fort'.

5. Ĉar ĉiam sur la vivo-voj'
kuniros Vi kun mi.
Bastono Via ŝirmos min,
trankvilon donas ĝi.

6. La tablon mian kovras Vi,
— rigardas malamik' —
la kapon ŝmiras per ole';
plenplenas la kalik'.

7. Dumvive bono kaj favor'
min sekvos tie ĉi.
Kaj en la dom' de l' Eternul'
por ĉiam restos mi.
