Cântico Vespertino

Representative Text

1. Já no ocaso a luz se esvai. Mansamente a noite cai.
Dentro em nós, o coração canta e adora em gratidão
Ao nosso Deus!

Estribilho:
Santo! Santo! Santo! és Tu, Senhor!
Céus e Terra, sem cessar,
Vêm conosco proclamar: “És Deus de amor!”

2. Deus da vida, Pai de amor, de Teus filhos Protetor,
Tua mão a abençoar, guarde a quem Te vem clamar:
“És nosso Pai!” [Estribilho]

3. As estrelas vão surgir, luz gloriosa a difundir.
Mas a luz que Tu nos dás, brilha mais e muito mais
Que a luz dos céus! [Estribilho]
