Representative Text

1 It may be on the rugged plain
Where lurks the treacherous foe,
Or out across the rolling sea
My King will bid me go.

Refrain:
My business here is very clear
In palace or in home so drear.
I’m work to do, I’ve news to bring;
I’m here on business for my King.

2 It may be in the valley low
Or on the mountain peak,
But ev’ry where that I may go,
For Jesus I will speak. [Refrain]

3 So anywhere my lot is cast
He may depend on me,
For I’m commissioned by His word,
And faithful I will be. [Refrain]
