1 In the field, in the wood,
Blossoms tell us God is good;
Nature fair everywhere
Whispers of God’s care.
Refrain:
Roses blow, brooklets flow,
Nature sings in gladness that God is good,
Whispers sweet they repeat,
Nowhere on earth is sadness, for God is good.
2 On the breeze, in the trees,
By the brooks and by the seas,
Nature fair everywhere
Whispers of God’s care. [Refrain]
3 In the song borne alone,
Let us join the happy throng;
Nature fair everywhere
Whispers of God’s care. [Refrain]
