Sing Away Your Troubles

Representative Text

1 If the path that you must walk in
Seems a rough and thorny way,
And the cares of life are many,
Sing about some happy day.
Sing about the silver lining
To the clouds that float above,
Sing about the blessed sunshine
Of the great All-Father's love.

Chorus:
Do not grieve o'er vanished sunshine;
Don't lose heart, but bravely say:
It will all come right tomorrow -
Sing your troubles all away.

2 Let your heart be filled with gladness,
That will give no room for care,
Just because you feel the presence
Of the Father ev'rywhere.
Sing as do the birds in summer,
Glad because they live and love,
For you know that God is keeping
Watch and ward o'er you above. [Chorus]

3 O the glory of the sunshine
That is scattered all about,
When we let the faith within us
Drive away all fear and doubt.
Sing about it, and the music
Of the song will rise above
All the cares that come to vex us,
To the heights whereon is love. [Chorus]
