Representative Text

1 I will praise Thee, blessèd Jesus,
I will praise Thee day by day,
As I travel life’s rough journey
I will praise Thee all the way;
I will praise Thee in the morning,
I will praise Thee all day long,
And my last thought in the evening
Shall be praise to Thee in song.

Refrain:
I will praise Thee, praise Thee,
I will praise Thee, blessèd Jesus, all the way;
I will praise Thee in the morning,
I will praise Thee all day long.
And my last thought in the evening
Shall be praise to Thee in song.

2 I will praise Thee, blessèd Jesus,
For Thy watchcare thro’ the day;
Thou art ever near to guide me
As I tread life’s rugged way;
And when life is almost over,
And the time has come to go,
I will praise Thee while I’m passing
From this to the glory shore. [Refrain]

3 I will praise Thee, blessèd Jesus,
When I’ve reached the other shore,
With my father and my mother
And my friends who’ve gone before;
We will praise Thee, blessèd Jesus,
While our friends are coming o’er,
We will praise Thee, blessèd Jesus,
We will praise Thee evermore. [Refrain]
